Today’s meeting of the Legislature-Parliament has passed condolence motion on the death of Nepali Congress leader and former lawmaker, Ramhari Dhungel. Dhungel, elected in the House of Representatives from Ramechhap Constituency No 2 in 2056 BS, died on March 16 in Kathmandu at the age of 60. With the commencement of the meeting, Speaker Onsari Gharti tabled the resolution of condolence. The meeting also observed a minute’s silence in mourning of the late Dhungel. Dhungel was also former Assistant Minister for Agriculture. The meeting has been postponed for half an hour.
